Sarah Macdonald is an artist and educator. Sarah studied a BA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College and an MFA in Painting at The Slade School of Fine Art (2009). She has exhibited widely, and awards include Claire Winston Memorial Award and Honorary Research Associate in Post-Graduate painting at the Slade.
Sarah's research centres around the representation of domesticity within 20th and 21st century painting. In her work painting and observational drawing are used to critically analyse canonical relationships to form and gesture. Studio experimentation is at the centre of research currently feeding into her forthcoming PhD.
