Ed Wall is Professor of Cities and Landscapes, he is Academic Lead of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Greenwich and the lead for the New Centre for Spatial and Digital Ecologies. He is a Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano, and in 2017, was City of Vienna Visiting Professor: Urban culture, public space and the future–urban equity and the global agenda (SKuOR/TU Wien).
Ed's research and design experimentation explores the intersection of public space practices and landscapes processes through concerns for spatial justice. He has written several books, including Contesting Public Spaces (2022) and edited collections such as The Landscapists, a special issue of Architectural Design (2020). He is currently working on a book, supported by a grant from the Graham Foundation, and the interdisciplinary collaboration - Field Office.
