Naomi Gibson is an Architect, Senior Lecturer in Architecture and Programme Lead for BA (hons) Architecture at the University of Greenwich. She is also a PhD candidate at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Naomi worked for Walters & Cohen Architects on education sector projects. She has taught and acted as a visiting critic for a variety of UK architecture schools.
Naomi's interdisciplinary research crosses between architecture, the social sciences and arts practice. Her research explores architectures of speaking and listening, from the socio-spatial performance of parliament buildings, to the design conversations of architects, considering conversational dynamics, speech-drawing relationships and speech as a mode of evocation and architectural representation.
