Hannah Lammin is a media philosopher exploring the intersection between aesthetics and technology. Her thinking is informed by creative practice encompassing dance, circus, performance design, site-specific art and digital theatre. She is Senior Lecturer in Media Theory and Programme Lead for BA Media and Communications at the University of Greenwich.
Hannah’s research examines interfaces between digital technologies and human culture, seeking to articulate the topologies of thought and experience that are articulated in events of translation between language – visual, textual, verbal – and the more-than-human world. She is currently experimenting with diagrammatological frameworks to excavate the technological unconscious of algorithmic platforms.
