David Waterworth is Curator of University of Greenwich Galleries, and oversees a yearly programme of around twelve exhibitions across three exhibition spaces on the Greenwich campus. The programme encompasses exhibitions supporting teaching and research at the University, community outreach projects, external curated group shows and solo retrospectives of major figures in visual culture.
David's own research interests lie in mapping processes and practices of representation, production and dissemination in visual culture. In 2019, he undertook a three-month curatorial research residency at the Serlachius Museums, Finland. Recently (2023), he curated "...not necessarily in the right order" (Reviewed 'The Wire' issue 471.) and is currently working on "Collage as a Cognitive Model" due for exhibition in 2025.
