About Us
Set up by Peter Steele in Centre Press continues to be run by the former Fleet Street man. Peter covered some of the biggest stories of the time during his stint on The Sun, Evening Standard and Daily Mail but always kept a home in Scotland. It was this love for the country that was the main reason for him taking the decision to set up the Northscot agency in Aberdeen where the Fleet Street know-how, hard work and some great staff started the process that quickly led to expansion southward and the formation of Centre Press.
With rapid success following, Centre Press have continued to build upon the original services of reporting and photography and now have a whole raft of PR and other media services.
From Glasgow, expansion has continued and added another sister agency in Edinburgh which means Centre Press have a great local reach and the ability to provide services nationwide for companies wanting to gain coverage throughout Scotland and the UK.
Centre Press has continued to move with the times, and the agency is at the forefront of developments in both Internet distribution and Mobile Phone content management with a member of the team holding non-executive Directorships in both fields.
